Summer has set in most of the parts of the country and now when we think of food we would want to eat something that will cool our system.
Moong daal is supposed to have coolent properties and is easy to digest. Majjiga chaaru translated to “Buttermilk Rasam” is self explanatory to be cool and refreshing.
Today we will learn a traditional Andhra recipe, Pesarapappu pachadi (Moong daal) and majjiga chaaru.

For Majjiga Charu.

Spicy chutney and cool chaaru is ready. All those who end the meal with curd rice, you can replace curd with majjiga chaaru during summers.
